Hepatoglobine syrup is an iron-protein preparation that is used to treat hypoproteinemia (very low levels of blood protein) and related conditions especially in pregnancy and lactation, old age, childhood, post-surgery and recovery from an illness or treatment. Also, it is used to treat iron-deficiency anaemia, iron deficiency due to low intake of iron or chronic blood loss and nutritional anaemia that occurs during pregnancy and lactation.
