About Feritross Liquid

Feritross Liquid belongs to a class of 'nutritional supplements,' primarily used to treat iron deficiency anemia and nutritional deficiencies. Iron deficiency anemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells due to low iron levels. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body cannot absorb or get enough nutrients from food.

Feritross Liquid contains Iron, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin), and Zinc. Iron is an essential mineral that aids in producing red blood cells and transporting oxygen to body tissues. Folic acid helps form red blood cells and prevents and treats folate deficiency (low blood levels of folate). Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) helps in the proper functioning of the brain and nerves and the production of red blood cells. Zinc is a mineral that promotes the growth and development of body tissues.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. In some cases, Feritross Liquid may cause side effects like nausea, diarrhea, constipation, and stomach upset. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.

Before starting Feritross Liquid , brief your medical history to the doctor if you have any heart/kidney/liver diseases, iron overload disorders like hemochromatosis and hemosiderosis, or intestinal problems (ulcer, colitis). It is essential to seek medical advice before starting Feritross Liquid if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Drinking alcohol may affect iron absorption; therefore, it is advised to consult your doctor before using Feritross Liquid . Feritross Liquid should be given to children only when advised by the doctor.

Nutritional deficiency: A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food. This condition occurs when a person's nutrient intake exceeds the body's recommended requirement. It can lead to various health problems, such as a weak immune system, skin problems, digestion problems, defective bone growth, and neurological diseases.

Iron deficiency Anemia is a condition caused by low iron levels in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to various body tissues. If the body has too little iron, it cannot make enough hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is the main protein in red blood cells and carries oxygen throughout the body. Feritross Liquid is a nutritional supplement comprising Iron, Folic acid, Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin), and Zinc. It works by boosting the body's production of red blood cells (RBC). It also helps normalise the low vitamin levels in the body, thus treating nutritional deficiencies and iron deficiency anaemia.
It is recommended not to take Feritross Liquid along with tea, coffee, milk, and eggs since they might interfere with iron absorption from Feritross Liquid .
Feritross Liquid is best absorbed if taken on an empty stomach. But in some patients, Feritross Liquid may cause gastrointestinal disturbances like stomach upset or constipation when taken without food. So, please take it as suggested by your doctor if you have stomach problems.
Antacids may interfere with the absorption of iron. Hence, taking Feritross Liquid two hours before or four hours after taking antacids is advised.
Zinc may decrease the absorption of antibiotics, thereby reducing their effectiveness. It is advised to maintain at least an hour gap between Feritross Liquid and other antibiotics.
