Description

Efaderm cream is a topical (for skin use) product used to treat dry, scaly skin conditions associated with atopy (tendency to allergic diseases). It is also indicated in hyperkeratosis (thickening of the skin’s outer layer) and eczema. It consists of sodium pyrrolidone carboxylic acid, sodium lactate, sodium chloride, and refined sunflower oil (linoleic acid).

Medicinal Benefits

  • Linoleic acid in the refined sunflower oil protects the skin against bacteria and germs. It also has anti-inflammatory action and is helpful for dry skin and eczema.
  • Sodium pyrrolidone carboxylic acid is a humectant that moisturizes dry and flaky skin. It also protects the skin from wind and cold.
  • Sodium lactate is a humectant that hydrates the skin and maintains the moisture content of the skin. It is also a keratolytic agent and removes dead skin cells from the skin’s surface.

Directions for Use

Apply it on the skin’s affected areas with one or two fingers after cleansing the area. Gently massage it into the skin.
