Directions for Use

Hold the vial/bottle upright, facing the nozzle opening directly to the mouth or throat and press the actuator using your thumb. Spray it directly into the mouth or throat for one or two seconds. Spray as often as needed to maintain the moistness or as directed by the physician.

E-Saliva Plus Mouth Spray contains Sodium carboxymethylcellulose, a saliva substitute that enhances oral lubrication and prevents dryness. It replenishes the moisture in the mouth.
Dry mouth/Xerostomia can occur when the salivary glands do not produce sufficient saliva. It can also result from not drinking enough fluids, sleeping with mouth open, dry, hot weather, eating dry foods or side effects due to certain medicines.
Sip water or any sugar-free liquids frequently. You can chew sugar-free gum to improve saliva production. Try using a room humidifier. Artificial saliva substitutes are also helpful in maintaining the moistness of the mouth.
