FAQs

Doxferol D2 Tablet is used to treat secondary hyperparathyroidism in chronic renal disease patients with or without dialysis therapy.

Doxferol D2 Tablet contains Doxercalciferol. It promotes the body's consumption of calcium from food or supplements, as well as the management of parathyroid hormone synthesis.

Parathyroid hormone is secreted by four parathyroid glands, which are tiny glands in the neck positioned behind the thyroid gland.

Secondary hyperparathyroidism can cause bone disease. It can also cause calcium to build up in tissues and organs such as the heart and blood vessels.

The parathyroid glands generate parathyroid hormone, which is important in regulating calcium levels in the blood. Precise calcium levels are critical in the human body since even minor alterations can cause muscular and nerve issues.
