About Dicalis Tablet

Dicalis Tablet belongs to a class of medications called nutritional supplements used to treat nutritional deficiencies. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food. Vitamins and minerals are necessary for body development and the prevention of diseases.

Dicalis Tablet is a combination of four drugs, namely: Calcium, Folic acid, Glycine, and Vitamin D2. Calcium strengthens bones and reduces weakness. Folic acid is essential for heme (pigmented, iron-containing portion of hemoglobin in red blood cells) formation. Glycine is an amino acid that is necessary for the healthy development of muscles, tissues, and the skeleton. Vitamin D2 is essential for intestinal phosphorus and calcium absorption. Together Dicalis Tablet improves the overall health of the body.

Take Dicalis Tablet as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience nausea, vomiting, constipation, loss of appetite, or flatulence (gas). You are not recommended to take Dicalis Tablet with phenytoin as co-administration of these two medicines may reduce the levels of Dicalis Tablet in blood and increase the risk of seizures (fits). However, if you are supposed to use these medicines together, please consult a doctor so that the dose may be adjusted appropriately to use safely.
Dicalis Tablet should be used with caution and in doses as advised by a doctor in dialysis patients with kidney failure. However, it is advised to inform your doctor if you are undergoing dialysis before taking Dicalis Tablet .
