It provides essential nutrients to maintain bone formation and maintenance. Cholecalciferol(Vitamin D3) is used in the absorption of calcium in the blood. What if I have taken an overdose of D Retcal 1000mg Tablet

Do not take more than the prescribed dose of D Retcal 1000mg Tablet as it may cause overdose. The symptoms of overdose include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, headache, drowsiness, mental/mood changes tiredness and weakness. If you suspect you have taken overdose or notice signs of overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.

If you are known to be allergic to D Retcal 1000mg Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, it is advised to inform your doctor before using D Retcal 1000mg Tablet . Higher doses of Vitamin D than the recommended daily dose should be used in pregnant women only when advised by the doctor. Cholecalciferol in higher doses may harm the foetus. D Retcal 1000mg Tablet may pass into the breast milk, hence consult your doctor before taking D Retcal 1000mg Tablet if you are a breastfeeding mother. D Retcal 1000mg Tablet should be used with caution in children and only if prescribed by a doctor. Cholecalciferol in D Retcal 1000mg Tablet can affect growth in children. Inform your doctor before taking D Retcal 1000mg Tablet if you have any heart/kidney/liver/blood vessel diseases, kidney stones, sarcoidosis (growth of inflammatory cells in different parts of the body), Crohn's disease (inflammatory bowel disease), Whipple's disease (bacterial infection affecting joints and digestive system), achlorhydria (little or no stomach acid), low levels of bile, and phosphate imbalance. D Retcal 1000mg Tablet contains sugar or sorbitol; hence caution should be taken to have an intolerance to sugars, diabetes, and phenylketonuria (increased levels of an amino acid called phenylalanine).
