Cystoset Tablet 10's belongs to the group of vitamins and supplements used in the treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). A polycystic ovarian syndrome is an endocrine disorder common in women of reproductive age characterised by menstrual abnormalities.
Cystoset Tablet 10's contains Myo-inositol, Vitamin D3, and Folic Acid. Folic acid improves fertility and reduces the risk of anovulation (absence of ovulation process). Myo-inositol improves insulin sensitivity, restores the ovulation process and enhances egg quality. Vitamin D3 helps in ovarian follicular development and luteinization. Together, Cystoset Tablet 10's helps in treating PCOS.
Take Cystoset Tablet 10's as recommended. In some cases, Cystoset Tablet 10's may cause certain common side effects such as stomach pain, nausea and tiredness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.
Avoid using Cystoset Tablet 10's if allergic to it. Keep your physician informed if you suffer from kidney problems, diabetes, phenylketonuria, hypercalcaemia, pernicious anemia or have been immobilized for some time. Also, inform if you are a smoker or have had a history of smoking or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding.
Cystoset Tablet 10's is a vitamin supplement used to treat polycystic ovarian syndrome. It contains Myo-inositol, Vitamin D3 and Folic acid. Myo-inositol regulates the levels of male sex hormones in the female body, enhances insulin sensitivity, controls blood sugar and reduces high blood pressure and cholesterol. Vitamin D3 helps in improving insulin resistance and exerts a protective effect on blood sugar, thereby easing the metabolic effects of PCOS. A Vitamin D deficiency has been linked to reduced fertility and Vitamin D3 supplementation in Cystoset Tablet 10's helps counter the same. Folic acid is an essential ingredient in the production of healthy red blood cells and is very effective in regulating menstruation, which tends to be dysregulated in PCOS. Thereby, Cystoset Tablet 10's helps in enhancing insulin sensitivity, reducing the symptoms of PCOS (such as facial hair, baldness, abnormal periods) and improving fertility.
Avoid using Cystoset Tablet 10's if allergic to it. Keep your physician informed if you suffer from kidney problems, diabetes, phenylketonuria, hypercalcaemia, pernicious anaemia or have been immobilised for some time. Let your physician know if you have any cancer and are on chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Also, inform the physician if you are a smoker or have had a history of smoking or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
