About Cystofert Tablet

Cystofert Tablet is a nutritional supplement used to treat polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Polycystic ovary/ovarian syndrome is a hormonal disorder that causes enlarged ovaries with numerous small follicles. Symptoms include irregular periods, excess hair growth, acne, and obesity.

Cystofert Tablet consists of Folic acid, Inositol (D-Chiro Inositol), and Myo-inositol. Folic acid improves fertility and reduces the risk of anovulation (absence of ovulation process). Inositol is a vitamin (vitamin B8) like substance. It decreases blood glucose levels and improves the ovulation process in women with PCOS. Myo-inositol improves insulin sensitivity (body cells utilize insulin effectively to produce glucose), restores the ovulation process and enhances the egg quality.

Your doctor will decide the dose and duration based on your medical condition. The common side effects of Cystofert Tablet include stomach upset, stomach pain, nausea, diarrhoea, dizziness, headache, and tiredness. Although not everyone experiences these side effects, if they occur, please seek medical attention.

Before starting Cystofert Tablet , let your doctor know if you have any medical history of heart, kidney and liver diseases. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting Cystofert Tablet . Cystofert Tablet can cause dizziness and affect your driving ability, hence do not drive or operate machinery until you feel better. It is not recommended to consume alcohol along with Cystofert Tablet since it may lead to increased dizziness. Cystofert Tablet is not recommended for use in children.
