About Corcell Tablet

Corcell Tablet is used to prevent or treat low blood calcium levels in people who cannot get sufficient calcium from their diets. Corcell Tablet effectively treats various conditions caused by low calcium levels in the body, such as osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), hypoparathyroidism (low levels of parathyroid hormone), and latent tetany (a muscle disease with low blood calcium levels).

Corcell Tablet contains Elemental Calcium that works by increasing calcium levels in the blood. It provides essential nutrients necessary for bone formation and maintenance.

Take Corcell Tablet as advised by the doctor. In some cases, you may experience nausea, increased thirst, increased urination, stomach pain, and loss of appetite. Most of these side effects of Corcell Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Corcell Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take Corcell Tablet as advised by your doctor. Corcell Tablet should be used in children in doses recommended by a doctor. Avoid taking Corcell Tablet if you have high calcium levels in blood or urine, severe kidney problems, kidney stones, or galactosemia (a rare genetic disorder).

What if I have taken an overdose of Corcell Tablet

How does the drug interact with Corcell Tablet 10's:
Co-administration of Corcell Tablet 10's may interfere with the absorption of Gefitinib and reduce its effectiveness.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is an interaction, Corcell Tablet 10's can be taken with Gefitinib if prescribed by the doctor. However, Gefitinib and Corcell Tablet 10's should not be taken orally at the same time. Maintain a gap of 2-6 hours between both medicines. Do not discontinue using any medications without consulting a doctor.

Consult the prescriber if you experience symptoms such as metabolic alkalosis like nausea, vomiting, tremor, muscle twitching, lightheadedness, numbness or tingling, prolonged muscle spasms, slowed breathing, irregular heartbeat, and confusion. Do not discontinue the medication without a doctor's advice.
