Coralsoft Plus Capsule belongs to the class of 'multivitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss). 

Coralsoft Plus Capsule contains Elemental Calcium, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), Folic acid, and Methylcobalamin. Elemental Calcium makes the bones stronger by increasing their density. It helps in treating and preventing low calcium levels. Pyridoxine is a water-soluble vitamin involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Folic acid helps in producing new blood cells and prevents low folate levels. Methylcobalamin/Vitamin B12 regulates body functions like cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. 

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Coralsoft Plus Capsule may have common side effects like nausea, stomach upset, and diarrhoea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time.

It is advised to avoid or limit alcohol consumption since it may affect calcium absorption. 

Coralsoft Plus Capsule is used to treat nutritional deficiencies and contains Elemental Calcium, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine), Folic acid, and Methylcobalamin. Elemental Calcium is a mineral used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients to maintain bone formation and maintenance. Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. It helps in cognitive development through the biosynthesis of neurotransmitters and maintains normal homocysteine levels (an amino acid in the blood). Folic acid helps form red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. It prevents and treats folate deficiency and helps form red blood cells. Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin/Vitamin B12) regulates body functions like cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It treats alcoholic and diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage) and pernicious anemia (red blood cells are not produced due to Vitamin B12 deficiency).

This supplement should be used during pregnancy only when advised by your doctor. Pyridoxine is excreted into breast milk. Hence, breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Coralsoft Plus Capsule . Drinking alcohol may hinder Coralsoft Plus Capsule absorption; therefore, it is advised to limit the alcohol intake while using Coralsoft Plus Capsule . Keep Coralsoft Plus Capsule away from direct sunlight. Do not store Coralsoft Plus Capsule above 25ºC.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Coralsoft Plus Capsule may interact with anti-cancer drugs (altretamine, 5-fluorouracil, capecitabine), fits medicines (phenytoin, phenobarbital, primidone), antibiotics (ceftriaxone, quinolones, tetracyclines), HIV/AIDS medicines (dolutegravir), hormones (levothyroxine), water pills, high blood pressure medicines (diltiazem), and heart-related medicines (digoxin).

Drug-Food Interaction: Please avoid alcohol while using Coralsoft Plus Capsule to ensure maximum absorption of nutrients.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Use Coralsoft Plus Capsule with medical advice if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food), heart/kidney/liver diseases, hypercalcemia, and allergic reactions to medicines.

• Try Vitamin B complex food sources like milk, cheese, eggs, liver and kidney, chicken, red meat, tuna, mackerel, salmon, shellfish, oysters, clams, dark green vegetables, such as spinach and kale, beets, avocados, potatoes, whole grains, cereals, kidney beans, black beans, and chickpea.

• Try folate-rich food sources like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, leafy green vegetables, cabbage, kale, spring greens, spinach, peas, chickpeas, kidney beans, liver (avoid this during pregnancy), and breakfast cereals fortified with folic acid.

• Sprinkle sunflower seeds over your food, vegetables and salads. 

• Include fruits like citrus, banana, and watermelon in your diet.

• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.

• Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Avoid excess fatty foods.

• Clinical monitoring of vitamins B12 and B6 levels through blood examinations is recommended. 

• Let your doctor and the laboratory staff know if you are using Coralsoft Plus Capsule since Pyridoxine may interfere with laboratory tests like urine tests for urobilinogen.
