Colimex DF Plus Drops is used to treat flatulence and indigestion in babies. In children, indigestion or stomach upset can be a symptom of milk intolerance or food allergy. Colimex DF Plus Drops helps in treating these conditions, such as dyspepsia (indigestion) and flatulence (gas). Indigestion/dyspepsia can be defined as the inability to digest food that is associated with pain and discomfort in the stomach. Flatulence is the build-up of gas in the digestive system that can lead to abdominal discomfort

Colimex DF Plus Drops contains Simethicone, which belongs to the antiflatulent class of medicine. Simethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping).

Colimex DF Plus Drops is generally safe to be used in children. It rarely causes side effects such as nausea, diarrhoea and abdominal pain. These effects resolve over time. However, if these side effects worsen or bother your child, please consult your paediatrician. Colimex DF Plus Drops should be given as advised by your doctor. Directions for Use
