Directions for Use

Tablet/Capsule/Extended-release tablet: Take it with or without food as advised by the physician. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it. Chewable tablet: Chew the tablet completely and swallow. Do not swallow it as a whole.Syrup: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the recommended dose by mouth using the measuring cup provided by the pack.Oral drops: Shake the bottle well before use. Give the suggested dose to your child by mouth using dropper provided by the pack.Granules: Check the label for directions before use. Mix the granules in water, stir well and drink immediately.Orally disintegrating strip: Place one strip on the top of your tongue and allow it to disintegrate. Swallow the dissolved medicine. Do not swallow or chew the strip. Avoid handling the strip with wet hands.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Bonshine Sachet 1 gm may interact with drugs treating high cholesterol levels (cholestyramine), anti-epileptic (carbamazepine, phenobarbital), antibiotics (doxycycline, neomycin, and chloramphenicol), drugs treating bone loss (alendronate), thyroid hormone (levothyroxine), diuretics (hydrochlorothiazide) and heart-related medicines (digoxin).

Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid or reduce the intake of caffeine, soft drinks and alcohol that inhibit calcium absorption.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Bonshine Sachet 1 gm is contraindicated in hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism, hypervitaminosis D, malabsorption syndrome, Vitamin D toxicity, heart/kidney/liver/blood vessel diseases, kidney stones, diabetes and phenylketonuria.
