Alafin Tablet is used to treat diabetic polyneuropathy. Diabetic polyneuropathy is a type of nerve damage that can occur if you have diabetes. High blood sugar (glucose) can injure nerves throughout your body. Diabetic neuropathy most often damages nerves in your legs and feet.
Alafin Tablet contains the active ingredient of alpha-lipoic acid. Alpha-lipoic acid is a free-radical scavenger that catches damaging oxygen radicals both in aqueous and lipid-soluble cell environments, thereby counteracting the sensory disorders of diabetic polyneuropathy.
