It is used to restore good bacteria in the intestine and promote healthy digestion and absorption of nutrients. Thereby, it prevents diarrhea and loss of beneficial bacteria due to prolonged intake of antibiotics or due to infections in the intestine. It is effective in people having lactose intolerance and also facilitates lactose digestion.
