Zo Eye Drops is used to treat bacterial eye infections, including conjunctivitis and ulcers of the cornea. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial eye infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid.
Zo Eye Drops contains Ofloxacin, which works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) that is involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, it kills bacteria and clears infection.
Use Zo Eye Drops as prescribed by your doctor. Zo Eye Drops is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Zo Eye Drops for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dry eyes, blurred vision, eye discomfort, eye redness, mild itching, or irritation in the eye. Most of these side effects of Zo Eye Drops do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Zo Eye Drops or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Zo Eye Drops should be used for children only in doses as advised by the doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Zo Eye Drops. Drive only if your vision is clear, as Zo Eye Drops may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after use. You are advised to remove soft contact lenses before using Zo Eye Drops.
