About Zitfix-M Gel 25 gm

Zitfix-M Gel 25 gm is used to treat acne. Acne or acne vulgaris is a long-term skin problem caused when hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It leads to the formation of blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, oily skin and a scar on the uppermost layer of the skin (epidermis).

Zitfix-M Gel 25 gm is composed of two medicines: Metronidazole and Nicotinamide. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that are responsible for causing infections. It works by damaging their DNA. On the other hand, nicotinamide is a form of vitamin B. It exerts anti-inflammatory effects when applied to the skin and reduces swelling, redness and tenderness associated with acne. Together, they effectively help in treating acne by preventing or stopping bacterial growth.

Use Zitfix-M Gel 25 gm as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will recommend how often you take Zitfix-M Gel 25 gm based on your medical condition. Some people may experience dry skin and application site reactions such as irritation, burning, redness, and itching). Directions for Use

Zitfix-M Gel 25 gm is only for external use. Take a small amount on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area as prescribed by your doctor.
