Xibit O DX 200mg/500mg Tablet ER belongs to a class of drugs called antibiotics used to treat several bacterial infections of the urinary tract, ears, nose, throat, chest, and lungs. Xibit O DX 200mg/500mg Tablet ER is a combination of two antibiotics, namely: Cefixime and Dicloxacillin.  Xibit O DX 200mg/500mg Tablet ER works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) that is necessary for their survival. Thereby damages the bacterial cell wall and kills bacteria.
