Vigoquin Gel 0.5%W/V Eye Drops 5ml belongs to the class of 'antibiotics', primarily used to treat bacterial eye infections, such as bacterial conjunctivitis. A bacterial eye infection occurs when bacteria invade any part of the eyeball or its surrounding tissues, including the cornea (clear front surface of the eye) and the conjunctiva (thin membrane lining the outer eye and inner eyelids). 

Vigoquin Gel 0.5%W/V Eye Drops 5ml contains Moxifloxacin, which acts as a bactericidal agent that kills bacteria, causing a wide range of infections. It works by stopping a bacteria's ability to copy their genetic material (DNA), which stops them from reproducing and ultimately kills bacteria.

Use Vigoquin Gel 0.5%W/V Eye Drops 5ml in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience common side effects like dry eyes, watery eyes, eye pain or discomfort, blurred vision, redness, itching and irritation of the eyes. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Vigoquin Gel 0.5%W/V Eye Drops 5ml treats and prevents bacterial eye infections. It contains Moxifloxacin, a quinolone antibiotic.
