About Valgan Tablet
Valgan Tablet is used to treat cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection of the retina of the eye in adult AIDS patients. Also, Valgan Tablet is used to prevent CMV infection in patients who received an organ transplant from a donor infected with CMV. Cytomegalovirus (CMV) retinitis is a viral infection of the retina (light-sensing cells) caused by cytomegalovirus.
Valgan Tablet contains Valganciclovir which works by getting converted to ganciclovir in the body and inhibits the multiplication of the virus. Thereby, it helps to control the infection.
