About Trinerve LC Tablet

Trinerve LC Tablet is used to treat nutritional deficiencies due to various complications or long-term diseases. It is used to treat and prevent folate deficiency, anaemia (lack of red blood cells), vitamin B12 deficiency, and neurological diseases such as peripheral neuropathy (nerve disorder), seizures (fits), muscle weakness, and heart or liver problems.

Trinerve LC Tablet contains folic acid, levocarnitine, and methylcobalamin. Folic acid (vitamin B9) replenishes the deficient folic acid in the body. It helps in the production of healthy red blood cells and DNA. Levocarnitine is a naturally occurring amino acid derivative that helps your body turn fat into energy. It works by improving the low levels of carnitine in the body. Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12) regulates body functions like cell growth, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It also prevents nerve damage by forming a protective layer (myelin) around the nerves.

You should take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. The common side-effects of Trinerve LC Tablet are diarrhoea, nausea (feeling sick), and vomiting. These side effects are mild and don’t require medical attention. However, inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist or get worse.

Do not take Trinerve LC Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents. Before taking Trinerve LC Tablet , inform your doctor if you are taking any prescription, non-prescription medicines, herbal products, or dietary supplements. Inform your doctor if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food), cancer, kidney dialysis, optic nerve damage, hypokalemia (low potassium levels in the blood), and stent in the heart. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You are advised to stop taking medicines for indigestion (antacids) within two hours of taking Trinerve LC Tablet .

Vitamin B12 deficiency: When your body doesn't have adequate mineral levels, vitamin B12 and low haemoglobin are required for red blood cell formation. Signs and symptoms of low vitamin B12 include fatigue, breathlessness, numbness, poor balance, and memory trouble.

Carnitine deficiency: Carnitine deficiency is when not enough of the nutrient 'carnitine' is available to the body. This can cause muscle weakness and heart or liver problems.
