Medicinal Benefits

Tolnim Tablet belongs to a group of medications called 'skeletal muscle relaxants’ used to treat painful muscle spasms associated with musculoskeletal conditions such as rigidity, tension, stiffness, and skeletal muscle spasms. It works by blocking the channels in the spinal cord and preventing the release of chemical messengers from afferent neurons. It functions as a central muscle relaxant. It enhances blood flow to the skeletal muscles, which decreases the release of pain-causing chemicals. Nimesulide blocks enzymes that cause inflammation, reducing pain and inflammatory effects. It also prevents cartilage breakdown.

How Tolnim Tablet Works

Tolnim Tablet contains Tolperisone and Nimesulide as its active components. Tolperisone works on the spinal cord and brain by blocking sodium and calcium channels, causing muscle relaxation and pain relief. Nimesulide acts by blocking the COX-2 (cyclooxygenase-2), leading to reduced pain and inflammatory effects. Additionally, it prevents the breakdown of cartilage and reduces cytokine formation.
