Tolnim Tablet 10'S

Tolnim Tablet is a skeletal muscle relaxant which is used to treat painful muscle spasms associated with musculoskeletal conditions such as rigidity, tension, stiffness, and skeletal muscle spasms.

Tolnim Tablet contains Tolperisone and Nimesulide as its active components. Tolperisone relaxes muscles. It relieves stiffness or muscle spasms by working on the brain and spinal cord areas. Nimesulide acts by blocking enzymes that cause inflammation, reducing pain and inflammatory effects. Additionally, it prevents the breakdown of cartilage and reduces cytokine formation.

Common side effects of Tolnim Tablet include headache, muscular weakness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, dizziness, and skin rashes. However, most of these side effects are temporary and do not require medical attention. If they persist or worsen, contact the doctor immediately.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components before starting the treatment with Tolnim Tablet . Contact a doctor if you are pregnant; it is unknown whether Tolnim Tablet may affect the fetus. Avoid taking Tolnim Tablet while breastfeeding. Do not give Tolnim Tablet to children below 12 years. Before receiving the treatment, talk to your doctor if you have any pre-existing medical conditions or liver/kidney diseases.

Swallow Tolnim Tablet with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break it.

Tolnim Tablet belongs to a group of medications called 'skeletal muscle relaxants’ used to treat painful muscle spasms associated with musculoskeletal conditions such as rigidity, tension, stiffness, and skeletal muscle spasms. It works by blocking the channels in the spinal cord and preventing the release of chemical messengers from afferent neurons. It functions as a central muscle relaxant. It enhances blood flow to the skeletal muscles, which decreases the release of pain-causing chemicals. Nimesulide blocks enzymes that cause inflammation, reducing pain and inflammatory effects. It also prevents cartilage breakdown.

Before starting treatment with Tolnim Tablet , inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of its active components. Also, inform about all the medical history, kidney/liver, or heart issues. Contact a doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. Avoid taking Tolnim Tablet while breastfeeding and contact a doctor immediately. Do not give Tolnim Tablet to children below 12 years.

• Stay hydrated by drinking water throughout the day, especially during and after exercise. 
• Avoid drinks with caffeine or alcohol. 
• Gently stretch your muscles before and after any activity to avoid muscle pain or stiffness. 
• Stretch before bed or do light exercises like pedalling on a stationary bike for a few minutes to help prevent cramps while you sleep.
• To reduce muscle soreness, include vitamin C-rich foods such as oranges, strawberries, and bell peppers in your diet.
