Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's is used to treat acute musculoskeletal pain (pain within the body starts from muscles, bones, or joints). Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's is used to treat mild to moderate pain in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Osteoarthritis is a degenerative joint disease in which the two ends of the joints come together due to the breakdown of a protective covering (cartilage).

Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's contains Etodolac and Tolperisone. It works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers (prostaglandin), thereby helping to reduce joint pain, stiffness, swelling, and inflammation. It works on the spinal cord and centers in the brain to relieve contraction or muscle stiffness without a decrease in strength. It increases the blood supply to the muscles, improving their movement and pain.

Take Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are suggested to take Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's as long as your doctor has prescribed it after checking your medical condition. Some people may experience specific common side effects, such as stomach pain, diarrhoea, indigestion, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, sleepiness, sweating, abdominal pain, and weakness. Most of these side effects of Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive with caution. Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's is used in children only if prescribed by your doctor. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's as it could lead to increased drowsiness and dizziness. Consult your doctor before taking Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; your doctor will prescribe accordingly.

Take Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's with or after food. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it.

• Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's is contraindicated in patients known to have hypersensitivity to etodolac, tolperisone, or other NSAIDs.
• Tizilex-ED Tablet 10's is also contraindicated in individuals with a history of asthma, urticaria, or allergic reactions following aspirin or other NSAID use.
• Not suitable for use in the treatment of perioperative pain from coronary artery bypass graft surgery.
• Contraindicated in patients with active gastrointestinal bleeding or peptic ulcer disease.

• Physical activity strengthens muscles and relieves joint stiffness. Gentle activities like 20-30 minutes of walking or swimming are helpful.
• Performing yoga may also help in improving joint flexibility and pain management.
• Maintain a healthy weight by performing regular low-strain exercises and eating nutritious food.
• Get adequate sleep, as resting the muscles can help reduce inflammation and swelling.
