Tioform Respicaps is a respiratory medication primarily used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD) like bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of your bronchial tubes) and emphysema (shortness of breath). It may also be used to treat asthma. COPD is a group of lung diseases that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs.
Tioform Respicaps contains Formoterol (bronchodilator) and Tiotropium (anticholinergic). Tioform Respicaps works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, thereby improving breathing and reducing symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath.
The common side effects of Tioform Respicaps include headache, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, sore throat, and hoarseness. Most of these side effects of Tioform Respicaps do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Do not use Tioform Respicaps to treat sudden severe symptoms or as a rescue inhaler. Please check with your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other prescribed or non-prescribed medicines. Keep the doctor informed about your health condition and medications to rule out any side effects/interactions.
