About Theot Tablet

Theot Tablet is used to prevent and treat symptoms of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, leading to difficulty in breathing. COPD is a group of lung diseases with emphysema (shortness of breath) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the lining of bronchial tubes).

Theot Tablet contains Theophylline and Etofylline, which work by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thus, it makes breathing easier. Thereby, Theot Tablet helps prevent and treat the symptoms of asthma and COPD.

Take Theot Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Theot Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. Sometimes, you may experience nausea, vomiting, headache, restlessness, dizziness, irregular heartbeat, or stomach upset. Most of these side effects of Theot Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

If you are allergic to Theot Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Theot Tablet . Directions for Use

Drug-Drug Interaction: Theot Tablet may interact with antidepressants (clomipramine, desipramine, amitriptyline, amoxapine), anti-HIV medicines (ritonavir), antibiotics (erythromycin, clarithromycin, ciprofloxacin, enoxacin, linezolid), antifungals (fluconazole), anti-tuberculosis drugs (isoniazid, rifampicin), diuretics and oral contraceptives.

Drug-Food Interaction: Theot Tablet may interact with caffeine. Therefore, avoid or limit the intake of caffeine with Theot Tablet as it may increase side effects. Theot Tablet may interact with St. John's wort (a herbal supplement). Therefore, inform your doctor if you are using St. John's wort before taking Theot Tablet .

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have kidney, liver or heart problems, inform your doctor before taking Theot Tablet .
