Tendia-MP 1000 Tablet is used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus. Type-2 diabetes mellitus is a medical condition in which blood glucose levels are above normal due to insulin deficiency, insulin resistance, or both.

Tendia-MP 1000 Tablet contains Metformin, Teneligliptin and pioglitazone. Metformin reduces the sugar production by cells in the liver and delays sugar absorption from the intestines; Teneligliptin works by decreasing the hormones that raise blood glucose levels and increasing insulin release from the pancreas, and pioglitazone works by helping the body make better use of the insulin it produces.

Tendia-MP 1000 Tablet may cause certain common side effects such as stomach upset, hypoglycaemia, nausea, headache, and vomiting. If these side effects persist longer, consult your doctor immediately. Take Tendia-MP 1000 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

Tendia-MP 1000 Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor about your medical history and the medication history, including herbs and supplements, before starting the treatment with Tendia-MP 1000 Tablet to rule out any adverse effects. Let your doctor know if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before taking Tendia-MP 1000 Tablet . This medicine is not recommended for children under 18 years of age.

Tendia-MP 1000 Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to any medicines or their components. It is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. Avoid drinking alcohol while on Tendia-MP 1000 Tablet  as it increases the risk of hypoglycemia and lactic acidosis (when the lactic acid increases in the body, which impacts the functioning of various organs in the body). It is unknown whether Tendia-MP 1000 Tablet can be given to pregnant women or breastfeeding mothers. Hence, inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you have any liver/kidney disease, heart problems, and hypertension before taking Tendia-MP 1000 Tablet . Before starting the treatment, inform your doctor about your medical history and the medications you take, including herbs and supplements, to rule out any side effects. Prolonged intake of Tendia-MP 1000 Tablet may cause acute pancreatitis (swollen pancreas).

• Eat foods rich in healthy carbohydrates and fibre, fruits, whole grains, and vegetables.
• Try eating food at regular intervals. Do not skip meals. Also, try not to overeat.
• Follow a healthy diet and walk/exercise for at least 45 minutes.
• Maintain a healthy weight by exercising regularly.
• Rest properly, and avoid stress by doing meditation or yoga.
