Telzox M 25 Tablet belongs to the class of antihypertensive agents used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels leading to high blood pressure. Symptoms include headache, dizziness, nosebleeds, changes in vision, chest pain, weakness and dyspnea (shortness of breath).
Telzox M 25 Tablet contains Metoprolol tartrate (beta-blocker) and telmisartan (angiotensin receptor blocker). Metoprolol tartrate reduces blood pressure by allowing the blood to flow more smoothly. Telmisartan works by blocking the angiotensin II receptor, relaxing the blood vessels and lowering the blood pressure. Together, Telzox M 25 Tablet helps in reducing the raised blood pressure.
You are advised to take Telzox M 25 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition.
