TelBenina Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called anti-hypertensive agents used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). TelBenina Tablet helps lower blood pressure, thereby reducing the chances of heart problems such as heart attack and stroke. High blood pressure is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels.
TelBenina Tablet consists of Benidipine and Telmisartan. Benidipine acts on the calcium channels of the blood vessels, enlarging the coronary and peripheral arteries and helping smooth blood flow. Telmisartan relaxes the blood vessels by blocking the effect of the angiotensin II receptor. Together, these drugs help treat hypertension.
