Talivox-50 Tablet contains Fluvoxamine maleate, which is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It increases the release of the serotonin hormone in the body, which is responsible for improving mood, cognition, and memory. Thereby, Talivox-50 Tablet helps improve mood and provides relief from the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Take Talivox-50 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Talivox-50 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions. You may experience common side effects like nausea, vomiting, nervousness, headache, dry mouth, indigestion, and loss of appetite. Most of these side effects of Talivox-50 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Do not take Talivox-50 Tablet if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to fluvoxamine maleate or other ingredients present in Talivox-50 Tablet . Before taking Talivox-50 Tablet , inform your doctor if you have a low sodium level in the blood, increased risk of bleeding, suicidal thoughts, liver problems, family history of depressive disorder, intestinal ulcer (bleeding in the intestine) or glaucoma. Avoid taking Talivox-50 Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Dizziness

Do not take alcohol with Talivox-50 Tablet as it may cause increased dizziness.
Drug-Drug interaction: Talivox-50 Tablet may interact with medicines such as pain killers (aspirin, tramadol), immune suppressants (ciclosporin), medicines used to treat abnormal heart rhythms (mexiletine), medicines used to treat pain and withdrawal symptoms (methadone), epilepsy medications (phenytoin or carbamazepine), blood pressure-lowering pills (propranolol), Parkinson's disease (ropinirole), migraine medications (sumatriptan), asthma medications (theophylline), antiplatelet drugs (clopidogrel), and blood thinner (warfarin).
Drug-Food interaction: Alcohol can increase the nervous system side effects of Talivox-50 Tablet , such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience impairment in thinking and judgment. It would be best if you avoid or limit alcohol use while being treated with Talivox-50 Tablet .
Drug-Disease interaction: Talivox-50 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease, seizures, hyponatremia (low sodium level in blood), and weight loss.
