Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure. Hypertension or high blood pressure is a chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery wall is high. As a result, it leads to heart disease, irregular heartbeat, and other complications. Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet  lowers blood pressure and helps in reducing the risk of having a stroke, heart attack, other heart problems, or kidney problems in the future. 

Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet contains Amlodipine and Bisoprolol fumarate. Amlodipine acts by relaxing the blood vessels. This reduces the workload on the heart and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Bisoprolol fumarate helps in relaxing the blood vessels by blocking the action of certain natural substances in the body. Together, Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet helps treat high blood pressure.

You are advised to take Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed, to treat your condition effectively. In some cases, Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet may cause side effects like headache, dizziness, palpitations, abdominal pain, ankle swelling, and oedema. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Avoid taking Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet if you are allergic to any of the components. Consult your doctor before starting Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet is not recommended for children below 18 years as the safety and effectiveness have not been established. Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Avoid alcohol consumption along with Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet as it may potentiate the blood pressure-lowering effect of Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet .

Avoid taking Stamlo Plus 5 Tablet if you are allergic to any of the components. Inform your doctor if you have heart problems, diabetes, Prinzmetal angina, psoriasis, pheochromocytoma, very slow heartbeat, serious heart condition, heart blockage, kidney or liver problems, muscle disorder (myasthenia gravis, rhabdomyolysis), breathing problem (COPD, bronchitis, emphysema), low blood pressure (hypotension), depression, previous heart failure, thyroid hormone disorder, adrenal gland cancer, or problems with circulation (Raynaud’s syndrome). Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Do regular physical activity or exercise for at least 150 minutes per week, or about 30 minutes most days of the week.
• Opt for a diet rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and low-fat dairy products.
• Quitting smoking is the best strategy to lower the risk of heart disease.
• Avoid chronic stress as it can raise your blood pressure. Try to enjoy and spend time with your loved ones to cope with stress and practice mindfulness techniques.
• Try to include heart-healthy omega 3 fatty acids containing food and drinks in your daily diet. You can also use low-fat cooking oil like olive oil, soybean oil, canola oil, and coconut oil as they may help in lowering your elevated blood pressure.
