Smartdapa T 10 mg/20 mg Tablet belongs to the anti-diabetic medicines used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise. Type-2 diabetes mellitus, or non-insulin-dependent diabetes or adult-onset diabetes, is a medical condition in which blood glucose levels are above normal.

Smartdapa T 10 mg/20 mg Tablet contains Teneligliptin and Dapagliflozin. Teneligliptin decreases the release of glucagon, a hormone that raises blood sugar levels and increases insulin release from the pancreas. Dapagliflozin removes excess sugar from the body via urine. Together, Smartdapa T 10 mg/20 mg Tablet helps treat type-2 diabetes mellitus.

Sometimes, you may experience side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, and stomach upset. These side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to consult the doctor if any side effects persist or worsen.

Do not take Smartdapa T 10 mg/20 mg Tablet if you are allergic to its components. Inform the doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, type 1 diabetes, ketoacidosis, low blood sugar, adrenal insufficiency, intestinal obstruction, or heart problems. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Smartdapa T 10 mg/20 mg Tablet is not recommended for children as the safety and effectiveness have not been established. Drug-Drug Interactions: Inform the doctor if you are taking anti-hypertensive (metoprolol), diuretics (furosemide, spironolactone) or hormone (levothyroxine).
