About Salbair B Forte Transcaps

Salbair B Forte Transcaps is a combination medication used to treat asthma. Asthma is a respiratory condition caused by hypersensitive airways, which become inflamed, swollen and filled with mucous, making breathing difficult. Symptoms include shortness of breath, wheezing, and cough.

Salbair B Forte Transcaps contains Beclomethasone dipropionate (corticosteroid) and Levosalbutamol sulphate (bronchodilator). Beclomethasone dipropionate works by preventing the release of certain chemicals in the body that cause inflammatory reactions. Levosalbutamol sulphate works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thereby, Salbair B Forte Transcaps makes breathing easier.

Use Salbair B Forte Transcaps as prescribed. In some cases, Salbair B Forte Transcaps may cause certain common side effects such as thrush, hoarseness of voice and headache. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen.

Inform the doctor if you are allergic to any of the components in Salbair B Forte Transcaps. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. Salbair B Forte Transcaps is not recommended for children below 4years. Talk to your doctor before taking alcohol with Salbair B Forte Transcaps as there may be an interaction. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medications to rule out any interactions.

Medicinal Benefits

Salbair B Forte Transcaps is a combination respiratory medicine containing Beclomethasone dipropionate and Levosalbutamol sulphate. It is used primarily to treat asthma. Beclomethasone dipropionate is a steroid that inhibits and suppresses inflammatory mediators and inflammatory cells. Levosalbutamol sulphate is a short-acting beta-agonist which stimulates the smooth muscle cells of the airways to relax, thereby easing the free flow of air. Thus, Salbair B Forte Transcaps is a potent antidote for breathing problems related to asthma and for treating the inflammation and swelling that constitutes asthma.
