Saffy D 200mg/500mg Tablet SR belongs to a class of drugs called antibiotics used to treat several bacterial infections of the urinary tract, ears, nose, throat, chest, and lungs. Saffy D 200mg/500mg Tablet SR is a combination of two antibiotics, namely: Cefixime and Dicloxacillin.  Saffy D 200mg/500mg Tablet SR works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) that is necessary for their survival. Thereby damages the bacterial cell wall and kills bacteria.
