Roboflam-DS Tablet is a combination medication that belongs to a class of drugs called 'analgesics' used to relieve musculoskeletal pain in the conditions of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It may also relieve acute (short-term) pain such as toothache, ear pain, throat pain, muscle ache, and backache. Pain is caused by damage to the tissues of the muscle and bone for a short time (acute) or long time (chronic).

Roboflam-DS Tablet contains Bromelain, Devil's Claw extract, Rutoside trihydrate, and Trypsin. Bromelain and Devil's Claw extract have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. They reduce pain, swelling, and inflammation by increasing the blood supply to the affected area. Rutoside trihydrate is an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent. It prevents further swelling and inflammation by neutralizing the chemicals (free radicals) that cause cell damage.

Take Roboflam-DS Tablet as prescribed. Your doctor will advise you on the duration based on your medical condition. Sometimes, you may experience dizziness, vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea, rash, or mouth sores. Most of these side effects of Roboflam-DS Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Roboflam-DS Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Roboflam-DS Tablet should be avoided in patients who are allergic to pineapple, carrot, papaya, fennel, and pollens. Roboflam-DS Tablet is not recommended for pregnant women as it contains Bromelain, which may cause abortion or miscarriage. If you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, please consult a doctor before taking Roboflam-DS Tablet . Before undergoing any planned surgery, inform your doctor that you are taking Roboflam-DS Tablet .

Take Roboflam-DS Tablet with or without food as advised by the doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it.

If you are allergic to Roboflam-DS Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. People allergic to pineapple, carrot, papain, fennel, and pollen should avoid the intake of Roboflam-DS Tablet . It is not recommended for pregnant women as it contains Bromelain, which may cause miscarriage, so if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy inform your doctor. If you are about to undergo any surgery, inform your doctor that you are taking Roboflam-DS Tablet . You are recommended to stop taking Roboflam-DS Tablet a minimum of 2 weeks before surgery as it may increase the risk of bleeding during and after surgery. If you have blood pressure problems, clotting or bleeding problems, infection, haematuria (blood in urine), hematemesis (vomiting blood), kidney or liver disorders, inform your doctor before taking Roboflam-DS Tablet .

• Turmeric and fish oils can help in reducing inflammation in the tissue.
• Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, as dehydration is often seen in pain states.
• Do not do heavy exercise, as it may increase joint pain in arthritis. Instead, you can do stretching and low-impact aerobic exercises, such as walking on a treadmill, biking, and swimming. You can also increase your muscle strength by lifting light weights.
• Get adequate sleep, as resting the muscles can help reduce inflammation and swelling.
• In chronic arthritis or joint pain, fish like salmon, trout, tuna, and sardines are also affected. These fishes are enriched with omega-3 fatty acids that minimize the level of chemicals called cytokines, which may increase inflammation.
• Your sitting posture is essential, especially when you have pain and inflammation. Try to sit as little as possible and only briefly (10-15 min). Use back support like a rolled-up towel to minimise pain at the back of your curve. Keep your hips and knees at a right angle. Besides this, you can use a footrest if required.
