RIPE KIT FORTE TABLET belongs to the group of medicines called anti-tuberculosis drugs primarily used to treat tuberculosis (TB). Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that mainly affects the lungs but can also spread to other body parts such as kidneys, brain, spine, and bone marrow.

RIPE KIT FORTE TABLET contains Rifampicin, Ethambutol, Isoniazid, Pyridoxine and Pyrazinamide. RIPE KIT FORTE TABLET works by killing the bacteria named Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which causes TB (tuberculosis). Thus, it helps treat tuberculosis.

In some cases, RIPE KIT FORTE TABLET may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, headache, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. However, you are advised to talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

RIPE KIT FORTE TABLET belongs to the group of medicines called anti-tuberculosis drugs primarily used to treat tuberculosis. RIPE KIT FORTE TABLET contains Rifampicin, Ethambutol, Isoniazid, Pyridoxine and Pyrazinamide. Rifampicin inactivates the RNA-polymerase enzyme, which is necessary for the bacteria to reproduce and make essential proteins. Pyrazinamide and Ethambutol slow the growth of the bacteria. Isoniazid prevents the formation of bacterial protective covering. Pyridoxine prevents nerve damage that might be caused by Isoniazid. Together, it help treat tuberculosis.

Directions for Use

Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid foods and drinks containing histamine or tyramine, such as cured meat, matured cheese, soya, tuna, salmon, mackerel, wine, and beer, while taking RIPE KIT FORTE TABLET as they might cause interaction.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform the doctor if you have colitis, peripheral neuropathy (numbness and pain in hands and feet), porphyria, diabetes, gout (high uric acid), or kidney or liver dysfunction.
