About Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion
Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion is used in the treatment of severe keratitis (inflammation of the cornea) in adults. Also, it is used to treat dry eyes in patients whose condition has not been improved with artificial tears. A dry eye is a common condition that occurs when tears are unable to provide sufficient moisture.
Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion contains Cyclosporine, which works by increasing tear production and decreasing inflammation (swelling) in the eye.
Use Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion as prescribed by your doctor. Restasis Ophthalmic Emulsion is only for use in eyes.
