Ranydol Spas Tablet is an antispasmodic agent. It is used to treat Hyperacidity, bloating, heartburn, flatulence, cramping in the abdomen, and indigestion.

Ranydol Spas Tablet is a combination medicine containing Simethicone (anti-foaming agent), Dicyclomine hydrochloride (antispasmodic) and Ranitidine (histamine H2 receptor blocker). Dicyclomine works by relaxing the muscles in the intestinal walls and relieving painful muscle spasms. Ranitidine works by reducing the amount of acid produced by your stomach. Simethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating the expulsion of gas through burping.

Ranydol Spas Tablet is generally safe for use. It rarely causes side effects like nausea, constipation, diarrhoea, headache, weakness, and abdominal pain. If these side effects worsen, please consult your doctor. It should be used as advised by your doctor.

Keep your doctor informed about your health condition, including medical history, to rule out any side effects/interactions. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding before taking Ranydol Spas Tablet . This medicine is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age unless prescribed by your paediatrician.

• Eat foods that are rich in probiotics, such as yoghurt/curd, buttermilk, natto, and cheese.
• Try to add fibre-rich food like whole grains, beans, lentils, berries, broccoli, peas, and bananas to your daily diet, which helps aid digestion.
• Avoid eating too much, eating too fast, and eating high-fat foods, which can burden your stomach.
• Eat small meals at regular intervals so that the stomach does not have to work. Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.

Dyspepsia: Also called indigestion, is defined as the inability to digest food that is associated with pain and discomfort in the stomach. Symptoms may include bloating, abdominal pain, burning sensation in the stomach, gas, and belching.

Flatulence: Also known as farting, it is defined as the build-up of gas in the digestive system that can lead to abdominal discomfort and distress. Symptoms may include abdominal discomfort, passing gas, rumbling in the lower abdomen, etc.

Abdominal distention: It is a condition caused by swelling of the abdomen, which is characterized by air/gas or fluid collection.
