Qucophene-M 50 Tablet is used to treat female infertility. It contains Clomiphene and Melatonin. Clomiphene stimulates the hormones which support ovulation. Melatonin protects the cells from free radicals that cause infertility. Thereby it helps treat female infertility. It must not be used in pregnancy. In case of pregnancy, stop using this medicine. About Qucophene-M 50 Tablet

Qucophene-M 50 Tablet is a combination medicine indicated in the treatment of female infertility. It may help women who cannot get pregnant because they are not ovulating. Infertility is the inability to become pregnant and have a successful pregnancy.

Qucophene-M 50 Tablet contains Clomiphene and Melatonin. Clomiphene stimulates the hormones which support ovulation. Melatonin protects the cells from free radicals that cause infertility. Thereby, Qucophene-M 50 Tablet helps treat female infertility.

In some cases, Qucophene-M 50 Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, headache, vomiting, and hot flashes. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Qucophene-M 50 Tablet must not be used in pregnancy. In case of pregnancy, stop using this medicine. Tell your doctor straight away if you suspect being pregnant. Qucophene-M 50 Tablet may cause blurred vision, drive or operate machinery only if you are alert. What if I have taken an overdose of Qucophene-M 50 Tablet

Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Using more medication will not improve your symptoms; instead, they may cause serious side effects or poisoning. If you suspect that you may have overdosed of Qucophene-M 50 Tablet or observe any side effects, please go to the emergency department of the closest hospital or nursing home. No specific side effects have been reported under these circumstances.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Qucophene-M 50 Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor if you have ovarian cysts, enlarged ovaries, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), abnormal vaginal bleeding, uterine fibroids, endometriosis (tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus), thyroid or adrenal gland problems, pituitary tumour, high levels of fats, liver or kidney problems. Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicines, including vitamin/mineral supplements or herbal products.

Co-administration of Qucophene-M 50 Tablet 5's with Bexarotene may increase the risk of pancreatitis, or inflammation of the pancreas.

Although there is an interaction, Qucophene-M 50 Tablet 5's can be taken with Bexarotene if prescribed by the doctor. Consult the prescriber if you experience symptoms of pancreatitis such as persistent nausea, vomiting, abdominal tenderness, and upper abdominal pain, especially that which is made worse after eating or radiates to the back. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.
