Qtren 5 mg/10 mg Tablet 14's is used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus adjunct to diet and exercise. Type-2 diabetes mellitus is also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes or adult-onset diabetes. Qtren 5 mg/10 mg Tablet 14's is not indicated to treat diabetic ketoacidosis or type-1 diabetes mellitus.
 
Qtren 5 mg/10 mg Tablet 14's is a combination of two drugs: Saxagliptin (dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor) and Dapagliflozin (sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors). Saxagliptin enhances glucose-mediated insulin secretion. Thus, it reduces fasting and post-prandial blood sugar concentrations. Dapagliflozin removes excess sugar from the body via urine. Together, Qtren 5 mg/10 mg Tablet 14's helps treat type-2 diabetes mellitus.
