Precod-MND Tablet 10's is used for the management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia (damage to the nerve fibres during shingles infection), pain in fibromyalgia (musculoskeletal pain) or spinal cord injury. It contains Pregabalin, Nortriptyline, Methylcobalamin, and Cholecalciferol. Pregabalin works by binding to the specific site on voltage-gated calcium channels, thus helping to relieve nerve pain. Nortriptyline increases the levels of nerve transmitters (serotonin and noradrenaline) in the brain, thereby reducing the pain messages arriving in the brain. Methylcobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. Cholecalciferol promotes a neuroprotective effect and prevents the progression of nerve damage.

About Precod-MND Tablet 10's

Precod-MND Tablet 10's is a combination medication indicated for the management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic neuropathy, post-herpetic neuralgia (damage to the nerve fibres during shingles infection), pain in fibromyalgia (musculoskeletal pain) or spinal cord injury. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain due to nerve damage or a malfunctioning nervous system.

Precod-MND Tablet 10's contains Pregabalin, Nortriptyline, Methylcobalamin, and Cholecalciferol. Pregabalin is an antiepileptic agent/anticonvulsant that affects the chemicals in the brain that send pain signals across the nervous system, thereby relieving nerve pain. Nortriptyline (antidepressant) works by increasing neurotransmitters (serotonin and noradrenaline) in the brain, thus reducing the pain signals in the brain. Mecobalamin/Methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B12, regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. Cholecalciferol/Vitamin D3 promotes a neuroprotective effect and prevents the progression of nerve damage.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Precod-MND Tablet 10's may have common side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, blurred vision, shakiness, headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation, weight gain, swelling in the hands and feet, and dry mouth.
