About Podbris 100 Dry Syrup

Podbris 100 Dry Syrup is used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, lower respiratory tract, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissue. Bacterial infections are caused due to the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body.

Podbris 100 Dry Syrup contains 'Cefpodoxime Proxetil', which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and negative groups of bacteria. It works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering (cell wall), which is necessary for their survival. Therefore, it kills the bacteria and helps treat and prevent the spread of bacterial infections.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea (watery or loose stool), abdominal pain, loss of appetite, bloating, skin rash, and itching. How Podbris 100 Dry Syrup Works

Podbris 100 Dry Syrup is a combination of two drugs: Sumatriptan and Naproxen sodium. Sumatriptan acts on the serotonin (5-HT) receptors in the brain, thereby causing the narrowing of the brain's blood vessels and affecting the blood flow patterns associated with headaches. Naproxen sodium is a painkiller that works by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) and prostaglandins (PG) responsible for pain/inflammation. Thus, Podbris 100 Dry Syrup prevents symptoms of migraine.
