Pijn Plus Gel is used to relieve acute musculoskeletal pain and osteoarthritis. It effectively reduces pain, swelling, and joint stiffness, thereby improving your ability to move and flex the joint. Osteoarthritis is a long-term musculoskeletal joint disorder that causes damage to the cartilage and surrounding tissues characterized by pain, swelling, stiffness, and loss of function.

Pijn Plus Gel contains diclofenac, linseed oil, methyl salicylate, and menthol. Diclofenac and methyl salicylate work by lowering hormones in the body that cause inflammation and pain. Linseed oil inhibits inflammatory mediators like leukotrienes, thereby reducing inflammation. Menthol is a soothing and cooling agent which provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Together, Pijn Plus Gel helps relieve mild to moderate pain in musculoskeletal and joint conditions.

Pijn Plus Gel is only for external use. Use Pijn Plus Gel for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. You may sometimes experience common side effects such as itching, irritation, redness, and burning sensation at the application site. Most of these side effects do not necessitate medical attention and will subside gradually over time. However, you should consult your doctor if you are experiencing these side effects regularly.

Please do not use Pijn Plus Gel without a doctor's advice if you have a skin reaction or irritation to any medicine. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Pijn Plus Gel in more than prescribed doses or for a longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and all the medicines to rule out any side effects. Do not take any other NSAIDs for pain relief along with Pijn Plus Gel unless prescribed. Drug-Drug Interactions: Pijn Plus Gel may have interaction with pain killer medicines (e.g. aspirin), blood thinners or anticoagulant medicines (e.g. warfarin), and medicines used for the treatment of venous thrombosis (e.g. anisindione, dicumarol).

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you have had asthma, urticaria (a skin reaction), renal dysfunction or impairment, heart failure, hypertension, and coagulation problems.

• Exercising regularly helps stretch muscles so that they are less likely to spasm, tear, or sprain. Mild exercises such as jogging and walking are helpful for muscle stretching.
• Massages can also be helpful.
• Avoid freezing and hot temperatures.
• Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes; instead, wear loose garments.
• Rest well, and get plenty of sleep.
• Change your position at least every two hours to avoid developing pressure sores.
• Hot or cold therapy can help treat muscle spasms. Apply an ice pack or hot pack on the muscle for 15-20minutes.
• Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water.

• Do not apply on open wounds, cuts, abrasions or infected wounds.
• Do not use any bandages after application of Pijn Plus Gel unless suggested by your doctor.
• Avoid contact of Pijn Plus Gel with eyes and mucous membranes. If contact occurs wash with water immediately
