Treatment of Severe menstrual bleeding

Medicinal Benefits

Pause XT Tablet is a haemostatic agent. It contains Calcium Phosphate, Citrus bioflavonoids, Menadione and Tranexamic acid. Calcium is an important mineral in the blood clotting process. Thus, calcium phosphate promotes the natural mechanism of blood clotting. Citrus flavonoids enhance the integrity of endothelial cells including that of the uterus and prevent excess shedding or bleeding. In addition, they also act as antioxidants and prevent damage to the uterine lining by controlling prostaglandin levels. Menadione functions as a co-factor in enhancing the activity of blood proteins and clotting factors, therefore making blood tougher and stronger.  Tranexamic acid is an antifibrinolytic (prevents dissolution of fibrin, a major blood component required for the normal clotting of blood), thereby promoting circulation and healing.
