Panzide D 170mg/80mg Tablet belongs to a class of medicine called 'digestive enzymes' or 'pancreatic enzyme supplement' prescribed to treat indigestion and bloating due to pancreas problems. Panzide D 170mg/80mg Tablet is prescribed for people whose bodies do not make enough of their own enzymes to digest their food. Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency is the inability to digest food properly due to the pancreas' lack of a digestive enzyme. 

Panzide D 170mg/80mg Tablet is a combination of two drugs: Pancreatin (digestive enzyme) and Dimethicone (anti-flatulent). Pancreatin is a digestive enzyme that helps in the digestion of food. Pancreatin contains ‘pancreatin enzymes’ that break down food and convert it into energy. On the other hand, Dimethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating the expulsion of gas through flatus or belching (burping). It also prevents the accumulation and formation of gas in the digestive tract.

Take Panzide D 170mg/80mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Panzide D 170mg/80mg Tablet as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions. You may experience nausea, stomach pain, diarrhoea, constipation, and bloating. Most of these side effects of Panzide D 170mg/80mg Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Inform your doctor before taking Panzide D 170mg/80mg Tablet if you have gout, asthma, cystic fibrosis (a disease that affects the lungs and digestive system), or any disease condition. Please also inform the doctor if you have a history of rapid onset of pancreatitis or worsening of long-term difficulty with your pancreas. Panzide D 170mg/80mg Tablet might interfere with the absorption of folic acid and iron; maintain a minimum gap between both. Consult your doctor before taking Panzide D 170mg/80mg Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Panzide D 170mg/80mg Tablet may cause dizziness, so drive with caution. Panzide D 170mg/80mg Tablet can be given to children if prescribed by the doctor; the dose depends upon the child’s age and body weight.

• Eat small portions of meals 3-5 times a day as larger meals make the digestive system work overtime.
• Include a diet rich in fruits and vegetables.
• Avoid processed, deep-fried foods as they are hard to digest.
• Maintain a balanced diet that includes proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. 
• Stay hydrated by drinking enough water as it helps the digestive system to function smoothly.
• Avoid highly processed foods that contain trans-fat, hydrogenated fats, and saturated fats. Instead of include foods containing monounsaturated, polyunsaturated, and omega-3 fatty acids. Include olive oil, peanut oil, seeds, nuts, salmon, and tuna fish as they contain healthy fats
• Avoid foods rich in fibre such as brown rice, barley, lentils, and peas as they might interfere with the enzyme activity.
