Pamaspas Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat spasmodic dysmenorrhea. It may also be used to treat premenstrual syndrome, spasmodic pain associated with biliary colic, renal colic, intestinal colic and pain due to inflammatory bowel disease.
Pamaspas Tablet contains Paracetamol, Pamabrom and Dicyclomine. Paracetamol work by blocking the effect of chemical messengers that cause pain. Pamabrom removes excess water from the body by increasing urine production. Dicyclomine works by relieving contractions associated with the smooth muscles of the abdomen. Together, Pamaspas Tablet helps in providing relief from abdominal spasms.
In some cases, Pamaspas Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, dry mouth, weakness, nervousness, and sleepiness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
Do not take Pamaspas Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Pamaspas Tablet may cause sleepiness, so drive only if you are alert. Avoid alcohol consumption while on treatment with Pamaspas Tablet .
