ONOFF INJECTION is used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the urinary tract, genital tract, chest, lungs, skin, and soft tissue. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. ONOFF INJECTION does not work against infections caused by a virus.
ONOFF INJECTION contains Ofloxacin, which works by interfering with bacterial enzymes and DNA gyrase involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thus, ONOFF INJECTION kills bacteria and clears the infection.
ONOFF INJECTION will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience redness, swelling or pain at the injection site, headache, nausea, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of ONOFF INJECTION do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Ofloxacin or other antibiotics or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, please inform your doctor before taking ONOFF INJECTION. Avoid taking ONOFF INJECTION and consult a doctor if you are breastfeeding as ONOFF INJECTION may be excreted in human milk and cause adverse effects in the baby. ONOFF INJECTION is not recommended for children below 18 years as the safety and effectiveness were not established. Drive only if you are alert, as ONOFF INJECTION may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or changes in vision. Avoid alcohol consumption with ONOFF INJECTION as it may cause sleepiness or dizziness.
