Nimulid Transgel is used to treat pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders. About Nimulid Transgel

Nimulid Transgel belongs to the group of medicines called NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs), which are used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, sprains, contusions, and soft tissue rheumatic disorders.

Nimulid Transgel contains Nimesulide which works by inhibiting the effect of chemical messengers known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby blocking the effect of prostaglandins which cause pain and inflammation. Thus, Nimulid Transgel helps in reducing pain and inflammation.

In some cases, you may experience side effects such as application site reactions like itching and skin redness. Please consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Nimulid Transgel is not recommended for children below 12 years. Do not apply Nimulid Transgel on infected, injured, or irritated skin. Directions for Use

• Nimulid Transgel should be applied as suggested by your doctor, usually 2-3 times daily, depending on the severity of pain or inflammation.• Apply a thin layer to the affected area and gently massage it in until fully absorbed.• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or broken skin, and do not cover the treated area with tight bandages unless you are instructed by your doctor.• Do not swallow the cream; it is for external use only.

This medicine may be harmful if swallowed. Seek emergency medical attention or call your doctor if you notice any unusual symptoms or if anyone has accidentally swallowed the medication.
