About Nimulid Transgel

Nimulid Transgel belongs to the group of medicines called NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs), which are used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, sprains, contusions, and soft tissue rheumatic disorders. 

Nimulid Transgel contains Nimesulide which works by inhibiting the effect of chemical messengers known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby blocking the effect of prostaglandins which cause pain and inflammation. Thus, Nimulid Transgel helps in reducing pain and inflammation. 

In some cases, you may experience side effects such as application site reactions like itching and skin redness. Please consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Nimulid Transgel is not recommended for children below 12 years. Do not apply Nimulid Transgel on infected, injured, or irritated skin. Avoid contact of Nimulid Transgel with eyes and mucous membrane; if contact occurs, wash with water immediately.

Directions for Use

Cream/Ointment/Gel: Apply it to the affected area and gently massage it in.Spray: Point the nozzle towards the area of the application and spray the medication from at least 6-8inches away from the application site for even distribution of the drug. Gently spread the medication if required, do not rub.

Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight

Do not use Nimulid Transgel if you are allergic to any of its components, if you are hypersensitive to NSAIDs, or if you have gastrointestinal ulcers or kidney failure. Inform your doctor if you have blood clotting problems, gastric ulcers, or heart, kidney or liver problems. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Nimulid Transgel is not recommended for children below 12 years. Do not use Nimulid Transgel on broken, injured, infected or abraded skin. Avoid covering the treated area with dressings or bandages.
