Nikoran 10 Tablet is used to treat angina pectoris (heart-related chest pain). It contains Nicorandil which works by widening blood vessels and reducing the heart's workload by making it easier for the heart to pump blood around the body. In some cases, this medicine may cause side effects such as headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and weakness. About Nikoran 10 Tablet

Nikoran 10 Tablet belongs to a class of medication called 'vasodilators' used to prevent or treat angina pectoris (heart-related chest pain) in adults who cannot take beta-blockers (blood pressure-lowering pills). Angina pectoris is a kind of chest pain due to decreased blood flow to the heart. It is a symptom of coronary artery disease.

Nikoran 10 Tablet contains Nicorandil, a potassium-channel activator that opens potassium channels present on the muscle cells within the walls of blood vessels and relaxes these muscle cells and widens blood vessels. Thereby, Nikoran 10 Tablet reduces the heart's workload by making it easier for the heart to pump blood around the body and does not require much oxygen. Also, Nikoran 10 Tablet helps to prevent angina by increasing oxygen and blood supply to the heart muscle by widening coronary arteries within the heart.

Take Nikoran 10 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Nikoran 10 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Some people may experience headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, weakness, flushing (reddening of the skin) or very fast, forceful or uneven heartbeat. Most of these side effects of Nikoran 10 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.
