Nasonex Nasal Spray Suspension contains Mometasone, a potent corticosteroid. When the skin reacts to any allergens, such substances are released normally. Nasonex Nasal Spray Suspension decreases inflammation and irritation in the airways and makes breathing easier. Thus, it provides relief from the symptoms of asthma and COPD.
Nasonex Nasal Spray Suspension should be used as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to use Nasonex Nasal Spray Suspension for a period recommended by your doctor based on your condition. Nasonex Nasal Spray Suspension may cause side effects, including upset stomach, sore throat, oral thrush, hoarse voice, headache, nausea, and tiredness/weakness. Drug-Drug Interactions: Nasonex Nasal Spray Suspension may have interaction with medicines such as antifungals (ketoconazole, itraconazole), antibiotics (clarithromycin, erythromycin), anti-epileptic medicines (carbamazepine), anti-tuberculosis drugs (rifampicin), antacids (cimetidine), anti-HIV drugs (ritonavir, cobicistat), bronchodilators (formoterol, albuterol)
