Nam Cold Tablet is a combination of respiratory medication used to treat common cold symptoms, such as sneezing, runny nose, nasal and sinus congestion, stuffy nose, or watery eyes. The common cold is a respiratory illness that affects the nose and throat and is caused by viruses known as 'rhinoviruses'. The virus enters the body through the nose, mouth, or eyes and spreads easily through air droplets when a sick person sneezes, coughs, or talks.

Nam Cold Tablet consists of three medicines, namely: Nimesulide (pain killer), Pseudoephedrine (decongestant), and Cetirizine (anti-allergic). Together, it relieves the common cold symptoms.

Take Nam Cold Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Nam Cold Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions. Drug-Drug Interactions: Nam Cold Tablet is shown to interact with the antianxiety drug (alprazolam), blood thinners (warfarin), anti-arthritis or anti-cancer agents (methotrexate), antifungal (ketoconazole), cough suppressants (hydrocodone), anti-allergic drugs (diphenhydramine).

Drug-Food Interactions: Limit alcohol intake since it may worsen the side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Nam Cold Tablet contains nimesulide, therefore, do not take it with dairy products like milk, yogurt, or calcium-fortified juices.

• Regularly monitor your blood sugar levels while using Nam Cold Tablet since decongestants like Pseudoephedrine can increase blood glucose levels.
• Consult your diabetologist if you have diabetes before using Nam Cold Tablet so that your insulin or other diabetic medication can be adjusted accordingly to maintain your blood sugar levels.
